Where are my notes stored?
On your device, inside the app. There's no account and nothing is uploaded unless you choose to export, share or (on Android) turn on Google Drive backup.
How do I back up my notes or move them to a new phone?
Use Export backup in the app's menu to save a backup file, then Import backup on the new device. On Android you can also turn on Google Drive backup in Settings.
How do I keep the app open on the cover screen when I fold my Galaxy Z Fold?
On your phone go to Settings → Display → Continue apps on cover screen and choose Always (or switch Fold Notebook on in the list on older versions of One UI).
Does it work on phones that don't fold?
Yes. Ordinary phones get the cover and a single-page notebook; tablets and other large screens get the two-page spread when held sideways.
When will it be on Google Play and the App Store?
It's being tested now, and the store links will appear on the home page when it's out.
